Buffalo is set to host a groundbreaking new music festival. The Country Rising Festival arrives this summer. It will take place at Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026. This festival promises a fresh take on country music. It aims to blend traditional sounds with modern hip-hop influences. This unique fusion is designed to attract a new generation of fans.

A New Era of Country Music

Social House Entertainment is producing the Country Rising Festival. This is the same group behind the popular Tacos & Tequila Festival. They aim to spotlight artists who are redefining the country genre. The festival’s ethos is about innovation. It embraces where country music is heading. It is not focused on where it has been. Nick Noland, CEO of Social House Entertainment, stated this vision. He believes this brand takes their festival creation further. BigXthaPlug is headlining the event. He is known for his genre-shifting sound. His music often merges country and hip-hop elements. This makes him a perfect fit for the festival’s theme.

Featured Artists and Genre Fusion

BigXthaPlug brings his unique sound to Buffalo. Redferrin and Graham Barham will also perform. These artists push country music boundaries. They mix hip-hop influences with Southern grit. Their sounds are distinctly genre-bending. The festival experience is built around this modern sound. It offers more than just a concert. It is an immersive day-to-night party. The organizers describe it as “cool country.” It is loud and modern. It is built for fans who want what is next.

The Venue and Festival Experience

Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B offers a scenic backdrop. This venue is a popular spot for live music events in Buffalo. Michele Cicatello, marketing manager for Buffalo Waterfront, expressed excitement. She noted the venue’s perfect fit for the event. The festival promises high-energy live performances. Attendees can also enjoy line dancing. Elevated local food and drink options will be available. Interactive games add to the fun. Bold brand activations are planned. A mechanical bull will also be on-site. VIP lounge experiences are designed for social sharing. This creates a vibrant atmosphere.

Connecting with Past Success

Social House Entertainment has a strong track record. They have created many successful lifestyle-driven music festivals. Their Tacos & Tequila Festival is nationally recognized. That event features throwback hip-hop artists. It includes acts like Too $hort, Chingy, and Trina. The Tacos & Tequila Festival will happen at Terminal B the day after Country Rising. This creates a weekend of diverse musical offerings. It highlights the venue’s versatility.

Tickets for the Country Rising Festival are on sale now. Early bird general admission tickets start at $59. VIP tickets begin at $119. Limited quantities are available at these lower prices. Prices will increase later. VIP ticket holders receive expedited entry. They also get premium viewing areas. Exclusive drink inclusions are part of the VIP package.
