July 2025: A Monumental Month for Hip Hop as Clipse, Tyler, The Creator, and Joyner Lucas Announce New Albums

Brianna JohnsonBrianna JohnsonJuly 10, 20252 Minutes read

The hip-hop industry is buzzing with anticipation as July 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark month for new music, with several of the genre’s most influential artists slated to drop highly awaited albums. Leading the charge are the reunion titans Clipse, the ever-innovative Tyler, The Creator, and the impactful storyteller Joyner Lucas, each preparing to release projects that promise to dominate the conversation.

Clipse Returns with “Let God Sort Em Out”

Fans have been clamoring for new material from the Virginia duo Clipse for years, and their patience is about to be rewarded. The highly anticipated album, titled “Let God Sort Em Out,” is set to arrive on July 11, 2025. Adding significant weight to this release is the involvement of legendary producer Pharrell Williams, who has helmed the production for the entire project. Pharrell’s signature sound, which has defined much of Clipse’s iconic catalog, is expected to be a major draw for longtime supporters. Furthermore, “Let God Sort Em Out” boasts an impressive roster of guest features, including contributions from Kendrick Lamar and Nas. The inclusion of these two titans of hip-hop guarantees that this album will be a major cultural event, merging the lyrical prowess of Clipse with the distinct styles of Lamar and Nas, all under the masterful production of Pharrell.

Tyler, The Creator’s “Don’t Tap The Glass”

Following his critically acclaimed recent work, Tyler, The Creator continues to push creative boundaries with his upcoming album, “Don’t Tap The Glass.” Scheduled for release in July, this project is being described as an exploration of “vibes” and is intended to encourage movement. While specific release dates and further details are still emerging, the announcement alone has ignited excitement among his dedicated fanbase. Known for his genre-bending soundscapes and artistic evolution, Tyler, The Creator’s approach to this album suggests a focus on infectious rhythms and an immersive sonic experience. Fans can expect a departure from conventional album structures, characteristic of Tyler’s innovative spirit, offering a collection of tracks designed to move both the body and the mind.

Joyner Lucas Drops “ADHD 2”

Adding to the monumental July lineup, Joyner Lucas is set to release the sequel to his impactful debut, “ADHD 2.” The album is scheduled for release on July 18, 2025, and it promises to continue the thematic and sonic explorations that made the original “ADHD” a standout project. Lucas, renowned for his intricate lyricism, powerful narratives, and genre-blending appeal, is lining up an equally impressive set of collaborators for this follow-up. “ADHD 2” will feature guest appearances from a diverse range of artists, including DaBaby, Chris Brown, Big Sean, and Ty Dolla $ign. This collection of features highlights Lucas’s broad appeal and his ability to collaborate across different styles within the music landscape, from energetic verses to soulful melodies. The news of these collaborations further elevates expectations for what is sure to be another significant release from the dynamic rapper.

A New Era for Hip Hop Music

The convergence of these major releases in July 2025 signifies a vibrant and dynamic period for the hip-hop industry. The return of Clipse, the continued artistic exploration of Tyler, The Creator, and the narrative depth of Joyner Lucas’s “ADHD 2” collectively represent the multifaceted nature of contemporary hip-hop. This month is poised to deliver a rich tapestry of sounds, lyrical content, and artistic visions, catering to a wide spectrum of music enthusiasts and reaffirming the genre’s enduring influence and constant evolution. The news circulating throughout the hip-hop community points to a summer of essential listening and critical discussion, with these three albums serving as the focal points.
