SIKKOO Releases “home” EP
Co-ed hip-hop group SIKKOO has released their second EP. The EP is titled “home.” It dropped on February 6, 2026. This release marks their comeback. It follows their first EP, ‘간(間),’ released last year. SIKKOO joined AOMG in 2025. They are the first act for AOMG’s 2.0 rebranding project.
Exploring “Good Bad Trip”
The “home” EP centers on the theme “Good Bad Trip.” It captures SIKKOO’s honest memoir. The group experienced trials and setbacks. These felt like a bad journey at times. Ultimately, they became a good trip for self-growth. This theme underscores personal development. It also highlights their music creation process.
A Spectrum of Sound
SIKKOO showcases their broad musical spectrum. The EP builds on a hip-hop base. It blends various genres expertly. Listeners will find elements of R&B, hyper, and dance music. Baile funk beats also feature prominently. The EP contains seven diverse tracks.
Double Title Tracks
“home” features double title tracks. The first is ‘nosho.’ It is a trap song. It highlights SIKKOO’s youthful energy. Melodic synth bass and groovy layers define its sound. Addictive singing and rapping fill the track.
The second title track is ‘Jikillom (kinda Guilty).’ This song pays homage to Dynamic Duo’s classic hit ‘Guilty’. It evokes nostalgia for the 2000s hip-hop scene. The track specifically showcases KOO’s raw and stripped-back rap style.
Showcasing Individual Talent
Furthermore, the EP highlights each member’s unique abilities. It includes several solo tracks. KOO delivers ‘bad trip.’ This song features his bold vibe and genuine charm. 200 (also known as EBACK) presents ‘demons.’ It features dreamy vocals and philosophical reflections. YOSI offers ‘AI LOVE.’ This track includes witty lyrics and easy-listening vocals.
A duet track also appears on the EP. 200 and YOSI collaborate on the titular song, ‘home’. Another track, ‘BAPPY,’ combines bright guitar riffs with baile funk beats.
Release Party and Future
SIKKOO held a release party on February 7th. It took place at Love Love Love in Seoul. The group performed new songs live. They showcased group, solo, and duet stages. This demonstrated their distinct team color and individual talents. Member 200 is also currently competing on Mnet’s “Show Me the Money 12”.
