SIKKOO Drops ‘home’ EP: A Journey Through Hip-Hop, Growth, and Diverse Sounds

Marcus KingMarcus KingFebruary 9, 20263 Minutes read

Co-ed hip-hop group SIKKOO has released their second EP. The new project is titled ‘home’. It arrived on February 6, 2026. This release marks their return after a 10-month hiatus. The EP showcases the group’s evolving musical artistry. It also tells personal stories. This comeback signifies growth. It also demonstrates their artistic development.

Introducing SIKKOO

SIKKOO is a dynamic co-ed hip-hop group. It is managed by AOMG. The group consists of three talented artists. These are producer YOSI, vocalist 200, and leader Koo Min-jae. They officially debuted in 2025. Their first EP was titled ‘Between’. Before their AOMG debut, they gained significant attention. A remix of their song ‘Team Tomodachi (KR Remix)’ surpassed 10 million views. This success established them as rising stars. Their group name ‘Sikkoo’ means family sharing meals. This name reflects their close bond. It also highlights their Korean cultural roots.

The ‘home’ EP: A New Chapter

The ‘home’ EP features seven diverse tracks. Its release followed a period of preparation. SIKKOO updated their logo and group photos on February 2. They also released a highlight medley on February 3. The EP explores the theme of “Good Bad Trip.” This theme represents their honest memoirs. It covers the trials and growth they experienced. SIKKOO explains that music creation had challenges. These felt like a bad journey at times. However, they ultimately led to personal development. The album uses hip-hop as a foundation. It expands into various other genres. These include R&B, hyper, baile funk, and dance music. This broad musical spectrum defines their sound.

Exploring the Tracks

The EP boasts two title tracks. The first is ‘nosho’. This song is a trap track. It features a melodic synth base. ‘nosho’ delivers youthful energy. It captivates with addictive singing and rapping. The lyrics convey a sense of achievement. The second title track is ‘Jikilom (kinda Guilty)’. This song pays homage to Dynamic Duo’s classic ‘Guilty’. It evokes a sense of 2000s nostalgia. Koo Min-jae’s intense rapping is a highlight here.

Beyond the title tracks, SIKKOO showcases individual talents. Each member contributes solo songs. Koo Min-jae offers ‘bad trip’. This track highlights his unrestrained vibe and honest charm. 200 delivers ‘demons’. It features her dreamy vocals and world philosophy. YOSI presents ‘AI LOVE’. This song showcases his witty lyrics and easy-listening style. The EP also includes ‘BAPPY’. This track blends bright guitar riffs with baile funk beats. It explores paradoxical emotions. The title track ‘home’ is a duet. 200 and YOSI collaborate on this song. It demonstrates their musical synergy.

Growth and Future Endeavors

SIKKOO members actively participated in the EP’s production. YOSI, 200, and Koo Min-jae were involved in planning. They also handled production duties. This shows their skills as “multiplayer artists.” Vocalist 200 is currently competing on Mnet’s ‘Show Me the Money 12’. This exposure further builds the group’s profile. Their return with ‘home’ is part of the AOMG 2.0 Rebranding Project. This highlights their significant position. The group’s prior work established their unique vibe. Fans now anticipate their future music stories. SIKKOO delivered an impressive music showcase. They aim to impress listeners with their upgraded sound. The group shows continuous artistic evolution. Their top stories are likely still ahead.

A Successful Return

SIKKOO celebrated the EP release. They hosted a launch party on February 7, 2026. This event took place at Love Love Love in Seoul. The party allowed fans to experience new music live. SIKKOO performed their new songs. They engaged with their audience. The performance showcased their solid live skills. Their charming chemistry also stood out. They moved between group, solo, and duet stages. This demonstrated both their team cohesion and individual strengths. The EP ‘home’ represents a significant step. It offers a deeper look into SIKKOO’s artistry. Their blend of genres and personal stories resonates. This release solidifies their place in the music scene. The group continues to push creative boundaries. Their journey promises more compelling music stories.
